The hamlet dates back to the 12th century, when it belonged to a family of noble Florentine merchants, initially for defensive purposes, before being transformed into a self-sufficient estate. During this period, the owners were a familiar acquaintance of Dante Alighieri and invited him to their property on several occasions. In fact, the property is mentioned by the writer in the Divine Comedy, within the Paradise.

Careful renovation has enabled the property to retain all the original features of the period, such as the stone walls, the terracotta and parquet floors, the vaulted ceilings and wooden beams, the stone fireplaces, the pietra serena elements, the paved terraces, the stone well and the medieval tower.

At the moment, the property, which is accessed via a 170 m tree-lined avenue, has been divided into 6 flats that are rented out throughout the year, for a total of approximately 875 square metres and 11 rooms.

The first building of 435 square metres is spread over 3 floors above ground and has a common hall on the ground floor and 4 flats, with a total of 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The building was created through the extension of an old watchtower, which currently houses one of the flats.

There are also three small rooms housing the installations, which can be accessed from the outside.
The two independent flats are located on the upper floor and are arranged as follows:

Externally, the property is completed by a beautiful garden of 4,500, crossed by a few paved paths that lead to a small square and the 12x6 m swimming pool, equipped with a grass and stone solarium. This area lends itself perfectly to the organisation of events, also thanks to the possibility of installing gazebos and canopies.
