Renovated portion of hamlet, surrounded by 14.1 hectares of land and located in the Chianti hills, near Pontassieve and Rufina (Florence).

The hamlet dates back to the 12th century, when it belonged to a family of noble Florentine merchants, initially for defensive purposes, before being transformed into a self-sufficient estate. During this period, the owners were a familiar acquaintance of Dante Alighieri and invited him to their property on several occasions. In fact, the property is mentioned by the writer in the Divine Comedy, within the Paradise.
